ISABELLE ASHE

LISTD REGISTERED TEACHER ALL GENRES

Isabelle is a third-generation dance teacher following her Grandmother, Julia Foley and Mother, Clodagh Foley-Martin into the industry. She trained from the age of three years old at the Castleknock School of Dance in RAD Classical Ballet and in the ISTD Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre/Jazz and Tap dance syllabi where she took all Grades and Vocational examinations to Advanced Two level.

Isabelle performed for many seasons with the Rathmines and Rathgar Musical Society at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin being both a singing and dancing member. She further enhanced her dance qualifications by taking vocational classes in Bird College (where she was accepted into full-time training) and subsequently trained for teaching examinations at Merseyside College of Dance and Drama. As a result of this training, Isabelle attained Associate and Licentiate status with the ISTD and was proud to be the first Irish teacher to gain Licentiate status in the Modern Theatre Branch.

From sound training, great heritage and a love of performing arts, Isabelle has developed a dynamic and progressive Dance school on the southside of Dublin. From her extensive Modern/Jazz dance training, Isabelle has adapted the ISTD Modern syllabus and married it with Classical Ballet and Contemporary facets to create a dance programme that has been widely and enthusiastically embraced by her students aged eight to 24 and proving immensely popular with beginners aged 8-18 who are new to dance.
