INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS
IN OUR DANCE CLASSES AT THIS AGE OF APPROXIMATELY 10-13 YEARS, OUR CLASSES FLOURISH AS MANY STUDENTS COME TO US FOR OUR STRONG BALLET CORE AND MIXED STYLES PROGRAMME.
Many, many girls at these levels have taken ballet elsewhere and stopped some years previously, now wishing to be with a pure ballet or mixed styles class of ballet, pointe prep and full pointe work, modern/musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, tap class.
FREQUENT MASTERCLASSES FROM WESTEND PAST STUDENTS AND CURRENT WEST-END ARTISTS.
The girls gather strong technique along with their artistry being developed in a very warm, sociable, caring and inclusive environment, particularly important for young women of today. At our classes, the girls work and learn as part of a team and how to find their sense of self, and we encourage the girls to develop their individuality. Parents often comment on how much their daughters develop a strong sense of self-esteem and confidence from coming to our dance classes.
Once or twice a week hobby classes are hugely popular. The girls continuing on the exam/full-time training route (exams in either ballet, modern, contemporary or tap) should note an additional practice day is recommended.
Classes thought the week and Saturdays at our locations in Dartry, Milltown, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Portobello, Rathgar, Terenure, Donnybrook, Ballsbridge, D.2 , Mount Merrion and Booterstown.
OUR NATIONAL CONCERT HALL PERFORMANCES AND CLASS DISPLAYS ARE A MASSIVELY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS’ PROGRAMME FOR ALL THE REASONS THE GIRLS COME TO WEEKLY BALLET AS OUTLINED ABOVE.
Please feel very welcome to come and join our dance classes at any age. We are delighted and used to having new girls, so no student will ever feel on the fringes or not included
